Well, it looks like the the domain transfer process went without any hitch, all email, websites are back up and working, and everything has been stable for the last few days. I only have a couple of redirects to sort out on domains that I don't use and lead ins, so not really in a rush to sort them.

The old server that hosted this site will be shutdown and deleted and the end of the billing cycle (sometime in the next week), I don't think I have missed any content to transfer, so no intention of going back to check again, and will just let it die peacefully.

So, What is Next For This?

The site is still running on an old version of Joomla, the plan is now to look at either sticking with Joomla and migrate to either V2.5 or V3, or look at another CMS, at the moment from the ones I have looked at DotNetNuke is a preferred candidate havng installed and tested several. Probably look at start to migrate content over the next month as a trial to see how things sit on DNN.
